We all quote authors, experts, and thought leaders.

Very few of us ever work on becoming quotable ourselves.

——

Being quotable isn’t about sounding smart.

It’s about intentionally crafting insights that capture our best thinking in just a few sentences, giving our ideas a higher chance of being shared in their most resonant form.

Quotable insights are the best ambassadors of the depth and uniqueness of our thinking.

They work like business cards for our best ideas, portable samples of our knowledge that open the door to deeper conversations.

To shape a quotable insight is to engage in the most intentional form of thinking.

It demands compression without reduction. It invites us to revisit something we know and transform it into a statement about where we stand.

In a world where artificial intelligence is turning all kinds of expertise into commodities, quotability may be the sharpest edge our unique perspective can have.

I believe quotability is a key skill for anyone who wants to double down on the distinctly human capacity for insights shaped by personal stakes, emotional discernment, and intellectual integrity.

A little more about me

My husband’s work moves him around every few years (no, he isn’t a spy). For that reason, I had the opportunity to live in eight countries. My favorites were Japan and the UK. We are currently in Kansas City, USA.

I’m originally from Brazil, and I couldn’t care less about soccer.
